 Hays County is Better Together.

I’ve done this job before — and I know what it takes to move Hays County forward.

This campaign is  about people, progress, and doing what’s right for our community.

Meet Liz

I’ve served Hays County before, and I know what it takes to lead when it matters. As County Judge, I helped guide our community through an economic recession and severe drought, making decisions that directly impacted families, businesses, and the future of the county.

I also made history as the first woman to serve as Hays County Judge, opening the door for a new kind of leadership rooted in service, responsibility, and results.

What shaped my leadership most wasn’t politics — it was responsibility. When things got difficult, there was no room for talking points or party agendas — only real decisions with real consequences.

With more than 40 years in Hays County, I understand this community because I’ve lived it. I’ve worked in public service, owned a business, and taken on leadership roles across the region — always focused on practical solutions and real results, not political noise.

I’ve seen how often progress gets slowed down by pressure, division, and decisions made for the wrong reasons. I’m running because Hays County deserves leadership that listens, plans ahead, and puts this community first.

My service to Hays County has never been limited to public office. I’ve also volunteered with the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, helping transport animals to partner organizations like the ASPCA in Fredericksburg so they could have a better chance at care, safety, and placement.

Why Independent

I have served Hays County—and I've seen what happens when party politics gets in the way of real progress.

This campaign is different.

Running as an Independent isn’t about standing alone—it’s about putting people first, without the noise, pressure, or agendas that come with party politics.

No party pressure

No political noise

JUST FOCUSED ON WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS

Be Part of What Comes Next

This campaign is for people who care about where Hays County is headed — and who are ready to help move it forward.
